FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
What SlidesOnX is, what it isn’t, and what to do when you can’t find a topic.
What is SlidesOnX?
SlidesOnX is a curated library of animated educational presentations, prepared by the SlidesOnX team for teaching, learning and revision. Each presentation explains a concept step by step, so you can see how it works instead of reading about it.
Who is it for?
Educators who want ready-to-teach material, students who want to understand and revise difficult concepts, and institutions that want better visual teaching resources for their faculty and students.
Can I create presentations with SlidesOnX?
No. SlidesOnX is a curated presentation library, not a presentation creation tool. You can’t generate, create or edit presentations on SlidesOnX. If you need a topic that isn’t in the library, you can ask us for it (see below).
Can I download presentations?
No. Presentations are viewed online. Downloads are not available.
How do I find a presentation?
Presentations are organised by programme, branch, semester, subject and module, so you can follow your syllabus to the right one. Open Explore Slides to search or follow that path. Only presentations that have been cleared, checked and published appear there; if something is missing you can request it.
What if my topic isn’t available?
You can request a presentation. The SlidesOnX team reviews requests and may contact you. A request doesn’t guarantee that a presentation will be made, when it would be delivered, or what it would cost.
Is SlidesOnX free to view?
Viewing publicly available presentations is free and doesn’t require an account.
Do I need an account?
No. You don’t need an account to view publicly available presentations. SlidesOnX doesn’t offer accounts at this stage.
Will it remember where I stopped?
The viewer can remember your place in a presentation, but only in your own browser on that device. There is no account, so it doesn’t follow you to another device.
Is SlidesOnX part of SkillonX?
Yes. SlidesOnX is a product of SkillonX Edtech Private Limited.
